Mercedes-Benz buses have been manufactured since 1895 in Mannheim, Germany. Actually, Mercedes-Benz buses have the unique prestige of having built the first motorized bus in history. In 1926, the Mercedes-Benz buses for sale company merged with its former rival, Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft. In 1951, they produced their first official Mercedes-Benz buses for sale, as opposed to the previous 'lorries' (which are just large motorvehicles). In 1954 they rolled out their first semi-integral Mercedes-Benz Buses (semi-integral means less weight and more stability and durability). As the years went on, Mercedes-Benz buses for sale continued to improve in performance. For example the 1954 bus previously mentioned (model O321H) first came out with 110 hp and later a 126 hp version was available. By 1991 they were producing Mercedes-Benz buses with up to 381 hp. Today, Mercedes-Benz buses for sale are manufactured largely out of Brazil and exported to the Americas, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
Mercedes-Benz has several factories outside of Germany (for example Mercedes-Benz Canada and Mercedes-Benz USA) and each one is under a different company name. These Mercedes-Benz buses for sale, like many foreign buses, can be expensive, but the Mercedes-Benz buses are excellent quality. And part replacement can be expensive so make sure if you buy a used Mercedes-Benz bus that you find one with all of its parts in relatively new and/or good condition.
